The Pursuit combines smart Naval Architecture with Marine design. The balance between form and function has meant the pursuit integrates unique design features not typical of a vessel in it's range. The Pursuit was specially developed for a boat building yard in the middle east in which this particular model will be released and displayed at the 2010 IBEX.

Design Brief:
To design an 11m patrol boat that utilised an axe bow and assured performance, ease of build with sound internal structure.

The meet the design brief, Allure Marine initiated the design process with the generation of 2D sketches in which several concepts where formed. From many varying concepts we could identify key design features, exterior styling options & preliminary internal structure layout.
We decided to evolve several concepts till we finalised on one particular design, which gave birth to the “pursuit”. Following on from the conceptual design stage we took on producing a hull form that meet our design brief. Through the utilisation of hull modelling software specific to Naval Architecture we developed the pursuits unique hull form. This unique hull form would assure performance, sea keeping and ease of build.
Following on from the creation of the Pursuits hull form we developed components such as the aft, fwd decks and pilothouse with the utilisation of 3D modelling software specific to marine design. This process entailed an overall 3D model of the Pursuit, which also integrated an optimised internal structure.
Through the design process we constantly kept in mind build simplicity reducing unnecessary components. To assure continuity through the build process we developed a jig system in which water-cut components could be easily assembled and welded in place assuring alignment and form.
Structural Design:
The internal structure has been designed to minimise components, retain rigidity, optimum weight and meet regulations of a class society such as DNV.
